Newsletter Confirmation for X-cart

The Newsletter Confirmation for X-cart provides you the protection you need from spam complaints.

How it works

1. Someone puts their email in the subscription box or checks the subscribe checkbox(es) on their profile.
2. They receive a newsletter confirmation subscription email. Complete with a unique URL to click on to confirm their subscription
3. If they click on the link, they will be subscribed to the newsletter
4. If they do nothing, then they will not be subscribed to the newsletter

You are protected from spam complaints because users have to confirm that they want to subscribe to your newsletter. Their email account is the only place that can receive the unique confirmation URL. This prevents people from signing up other people's email addresses to your newsletters.

Features Include:

• Ability to send "reminder" emails to those who haven't confirmed. (Optional)
• Ability to take old newsletter list and make it conform to the new policies. Existing subscribers will be removed from the newsletter list and sent the confirmation email to subscribe. (Optional)
