Android Email Setup

What you will need:

  • User Name
  • Email Address
  • Password

Procedure:

  • Launch the “Email” app on your device.
  • If you do not have any accounts currently configured, the app will take you to the new account wizard automatically. If you do, you need to navigate to the “Settings” page for the app, and select “Add Account” to launch the wizard.
  • Select “IMAP” or “Add Other Account” if IMAP is not in the list that is show.
  • In the next page titled “Add New Account”, fill in the following:
    • Email Address: <user_name>@<domain_name>
    • Username: <user_name>@<domain_name>
    • Password: your password
  • If “Manual Setup” is an option, select that, and choose the “IMAP” account type.
  • Under the “IMAP” panel, fill in the following fields:
    • Enter “mail.bcsehosting.com” as the incoming IMAP server
    • Select “SSL” under “Security Type” (this is set the port number to 993).
    • Enter “mail.bcsehosting.com” as the outgoing SMTP server
    • Select “TLS” under “Security Type” (this is set the port number to 993).
    • Select “Authentication required before sending emails” and fill in:
      • Username: <user_name>@<domain_name>
      • Password: your password
  • Click “Next” then “Done”
